covid-19 needs + OPPORTUNITIES

NEEDS:

Medical Face Masks
Chris Bowman is making face masks to send to hospitals that are in short supply. She is in need of corded elastic, 1/8” or 1/4” flat. If you are a sewer or know someone who may have this, please reach out to her! (Email Chris Bowman)

JI Outreach (Local Food Bank)
Our local food bankis still in need of our continued support. For those of you who don't know, our church supplies them with Mac & Cheese boxes. They would like us to continue our giving if you are able. Any other non-perishables are welcome too.

If you are able to donate, you can drop them off at the Outreach, JIO is open for donation on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am - 12 pm. The address is 1872-C Camp Rd, 29412. Contact numbers for drop off is 843.762.2653 (outreach) and 843.270.8384 (Scott).

If you can't bring food, you can donate online. Our mail a check with "For Food" written in the memo line.

A few important notes:
- If the food could be sanitized in advance that would be a plus, but please let us know one way or the other.
- If you have hand sanitizer, or wipes that can be used by Outreach volunteers and staff, this is essential to keep JI Outreach open.
- Pray for the Outreach for resources and a supply of volunteers who are able to help and for their protection

Childcare
We have parents in our church that need help with their kids so that they can work — particular single parents.
If you NEED that or you can GIVE that, please email Chris Talbott

Burundi Team:
The Burundi Team has arrived back in Charleston safely! After traveling for 48hrs they have immediately gone into self quarantine for 14 days. Please pray for their transition home. Additionally, if you can provide assistance for food send encouraging words, it is much appreciated.

Need Meal Help
A traditional meal train is a potential concern so we are trying to support them in other ways. If you would like to simultaneously support a local restaurant and have the food delivered that would be great, or if you would like to donate to have groceries delivered it is much appreciated. Please contact Bruce Binney to coordinate. (434-409-7909, or email)
