CHURCH PICNIC AT THE BEACH

Sunday, July 18th

Immediately following the church service on Sunday, July 18th, we invite all to join us for a picnic at Camp St. Christopher on Seabrook Island beach (see directions below).  Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Tea will be provided, but we ask each family to bring an additional side dish (pasta salads, Mac & Cheese, chips/dips, and desserts), as well as soda's you prefer for your family-plus one.  If your item requires refrigeration, you may drop it off in the kitchen prior to the service.  Please plan on wearing casual beach clothes, shorts, etc., to church, along with appropriate cover-ups.  (Take Note:  There will be no Sunday School classes or Breakfast served this day.)

Directions from JICC:

Take Maybank Highway (SC#700 at the foot of the Wappoo Bridge)

Stay on through Riverland Terrace, the Stono Bridge to Johns Island, until you reach Bohicket Road (McDonald's on left)

Turn left - Continue on Bohicket Road, going past River Rd (traffic light) and the entrance to Kiawah Island until you get to the Seabrook security gate

At Seabrook security gate, use the inner lane and check in, telling them you are with James Island Christian Church

Place the pass card on your left dash board

St. Christopher is approximately 2.5 miles from the gate house, on your right; 2810 Seabrook Island Road at St. Christopher Lane.
