Sunday School

Our mission is to see people built up in Christ - and one of the most significant ways this happens is through instruction in God's Word. We have structured our Sunday morning Bible study times to highlight and equip persons in a particular facet of our discipleship. Classes meet for 7 weeks on Sundays from 9-9:50am in the 2-story classroom building (Signs are located to help find classrooms).

Participating in the Mission of the Church
(Taught by Sean Hardwick)
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

As Christians, we are given the ultimate purpose, the ultimate mission -- fulfilling the mission of Jesus Christ. Christ is building his kingdom for all of eternity. It is our job to help make disciples of Christ throughout the world and to follow his plan in building this kingdom. We have a commission from the One we follow. Yet we cannot just approach this commission as an individual follower. The heart of Christ's plan is carried out through a community of purpose, the church. In this class, we will examine Christ's plan and identify how we can fully participate in it as the body.

Envisioning Fruitful Lifework
(Taught by Ralph Farley)
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
God has designed the household unit to be a productive unit in the life of the church family: providing for our own families, meeting needs within the church family, helping others in need in the community, and assisting believing church families throughout the world. Work should be balanced with every area of our lives, enabling us to accomplish the "life basics" to which God has called us all. In addition, we each should have an increasing sense of the lifework to which God has called us. In this class, we will discuss the principles of building fruitful lifework, as well as how we can lay foundations that will be deeply satisfying and bear fruit for many generations.
