1. Looking at verses 17-22, what would Jesus say is the basic character of people in the world?
2. Based upon this passage, do you think you can earn your salvation by being a good person?
3. In verses 32-34, Jesus says that he is going to die. According to verse 45, what is the purpose of his death?
4. Read Isaiah 53:5, 10-12. How do these verses help us understand what a ransom is?  
What would Jesus tell you to do if you desired to enter into a relationship with God? 

1. What mountains in your life has God revealed His Glory to you on?
2. Who was with you and why was their presence significant?
3. How was your life changed after that encounter with God?
4. Why do we try to put God in a box?
