Prayer within the church, part 1

God uses prayer to train us to abide in His kingdom. Through prayer, we learn the heart of God and what He desires for us as His children. As we grow in our ability to pray, His Holy Spirit changes us, conforming us to His image, so that we are able to do His will. Above all else, prayer is a means of forming character. It combines freedom and power with service and love.
