Discussion Questions

1. What did the Holy Spirit highlight to you in the passage or the sermon?
2. What is the inheritance kept in heaven for you? How can reminding ourselves of this inheritance aid us to fight now?
3. Sin will keep us from our inheritance, (Eph. 5:5). Jon mentioned two sins in particular: Grumbling (Num. 14:26-29) and Unbelief (Num. 14:20-23). What are ways we can help one another overcome these sins?
4. In our calling and in this fight against sin, God has called us to be strong and courageous (Josh. 1:9). What does it look like for you to be strong and courageous in your calling?
5. Our offensive weapon against our enemy is the Word of God. Living in His truth is so important (Josh. 1:8). What does your relationship with the Word of God look like? What are ways we can stir one another up to be in His Word more?
