ENGAGEMENT

Ministry is lived out in the heart of the community. Through our partnerships with local churches, you’ll immerse yourself in the rhythms of church life—becoming a church member, joining a home group, serving in various ministries, participating in staff and leadership meetings, and engaging in Sunday gatherings.

THEOLOGICAL
FOUNDATIONS

During the year, the students will complete a comprehensive Biblical Theology Course that goes from Genesis to Revelation.  Modules include: The Pentateuch, Conquest to Monarchy, Division to Exile, Exile and Return, The Gospels, The Church Age, and Scripture to Theology.

LEADERSHIP
FORMATION

Leadership is influence. Everyone has influence. In our weekly leadership class, you will learn from local church leaders, international apostolic gifts, as well as secular leadership experts from around the world.

Along with your spiritual formation, you’ll build real-life skills like financial stewardship, navigating conflict & communication, time-management, and self-leadership disciplines that will ground you for wherever God leads next.

In addition to real-life skills equipping, you will also get a chance to travel on international and local missions trips.

Your days at the School of Ministry will be rooted in a rhythm designed for transformation—team activities, one-on-one mentorship, and hands-on ministry experiences in real-life church settings. Our hope is to equip you for more than ministry—we’re here to prepare you for life - inside and outside the church building. Along with your spiritual formation, you’ll build skills in financial stewardship, communication, and leadership -- ultimately preparing you for wherever God leads you next.

Rooted in the belief that transformation happens within a community, our program is woven into a network of local churches—places where students find belonging, practice their calling, and serve with purpose.

Program cost + Logistics

TUITION COSTS
The program tuition is $10,000 for the year, covering all training, mentorship, and program materials. Scholarship opportunities are offered to make the program accessible to all who are called to join. Your financial needs can be discussed in your ‘Step 1’ connection call.
HOUSING OPTIONS
Depending on your situation, you are able to source your own housing, rent housing through the church (limited availability), or for international students, be paired with host families across the Charleston area.
TIME COMMITMENT
The program launches mid-August and concludes mid-June. The program commitment is full time, but exceptions can be made in the case of part-time students or part-time employment opportunities.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
We offer M1 student visas for those outside of the USA. If you are interested in joining the School of Ministry, please keep in mind that visas require 6-12 months of processing time, so plan accordingly.
