Discussion Questions
3DQ - 3 discipleship questions to ask each other: What is God saying to you? What are you going to do about it? How can I help?
- What did the Holy Spirit highlight to you in the passage or the sermon?
- Read Ephesians 4:1-15 - How does this passage speak to you personally about how the church body partners together in ministry?
- Can you think of any other verses/scriptures that reference the partnership God intended for us to live out in the church?
- Contrast a “call out culture” with a “caricature culture.” Can you describe times where you have witnessed people being reduced to caricatures? What behaviors or thought patterns should we be avoiding in this thinking?
- What are some of the ways we can “call out” the gifts in those around us? What does this look/sound like? (Be as practical as you can).
- Consider the three main sermon points from Sunday (1. Consider others better than yourself, 2. Give people space to grow, 3. Be unified around a common mission.) - which one of these points do you need to grow in most?
- As a Home Group, spend time encouraging each other and calling out the gifts in each other. Also ask your group if there are specific gifts that each of them desire to grow in and pray for that.
